Hi all. I know this is probably by a long shot but I am in need of a black leather seat cover for my 69. I just need the upper half of the seat. My passenger seat is really nice. My drivers seat lower is good but the upper is wore out. I can't justify spending over $700 for new covers when 3/4 of my covers are still good.

As far as I can tell there is no difference between driver and passenger seat covers. So either one should work for me (unless somebody knows something that I don't, please chime in). My car has headrest but I don't think that matters either. I can always cut a hole for the headrest post if its a non-headrest cover.

I saw a complete seat back in nice condition on eBay. Item number 252447259593. I have nothing to do with the part. Just saw it and passing it along.

That is a pretty nice seat but unfortunately for me its vinyl. If it was leather I'd be all over it. Thanks anyway for the lead.

I have been trying to find a nice original black leather upper cover for my 72 for 4 years and no luck.
Just keep looking.............

I had another member PM me that he had a light saddle upper for a 70. I don’t want to have to dye anything. But that gave me an idea (thanks 70Yellowbird). If a 70 leather seat is similar, I can probably use it whether it’s the upper or lower. And same with 68-69, upper or lower. There is only a section on my seat that is really bad. Original owner of 48 years must have had something attached to his belt or pants and it wore the upper out down towards the bottom. I could use material from another seat to replace the section from the horizontal stitching on downward.

I was in need of the piece of carpet behind the seats, I called Wilcox and they sold me just that piece. Maybe they would do the same for your seats? Would hurt to call. T
