1969 Restored Frame
Frame is sold now and heading to a new home to be put into service. Thank you Bob.
This is a 1969 frame that has been completely restored and is ready for service. It will work well for 68-72 without modification. It has a custom transmission cross member that can be removed making the removal of a manual or automatic transmission much easier. This frame has been gauge block checked and verified it is straight and true. It has had new rear gussets welded in place, new body mounts installed, a new rear cross member installed, new front extensions installed, and a new custom front cross member lower plate installed. Welds have been reinforced all along the frame. The frame has been rust protected inside using Eastwood rust coating and the exterior of the frame has been powder coated gloss black. This frame came from a manual car so it contains the manual transmission bracket attached to the frame as well, nothing to install. Ready for service with a big block or small block, manual or automatic setup.
More pictures or information can be provided if you have questions about this frame, just let me know and I will be glad to help.
I also have the stainless fuel supply line, stainless fuel return line, and complete front to back stainless brake lines for this frame. I have not installed them but I sure can with a confirmed purchase, or you can install them yourself.
I am very happy with how this frame came out and I will be doing the exact same work for the manual 77 frame I have for my 77 project car for my own use.
$3,500 or best off takes it.
I would be glad to deliver to Carlisle if that helps you as well or we can discuss delivery within 150 miles for a small fee.
Thank you again for looking and best regards,
David Howard

Probably too steep for most of the forum members, I would understand that and this is a tough market for sales so I will take the frame to eBay and see if there is any interest there.
If you know of anyone looking for a trade or a really, really nice frame, please let me know.
Thank you and best regards,
David Howard

One time deal, one time special, one time crazy offer, call it what you want, it is a one time thing.
If you buy this frame and take delivery at Carlisle I will bring it, help you load it, take a beating on the price, and let you have it for $2,500. That is less than I have in the frame now, far less, but I need the space, I don't need the frame, and you can get a heck of deal.
When Carlisle is over, so is this offer. Corvettes at Carlisle starts next Thursday, August 24th so you have until Wednesday, August 23rd to seal the deal.
One and done.

That came out really nice David. It sure looks like it took a lot of work though.

Just a tough market right now Bill. I have plans to build a nice rolling storage rack this Fall that will allow me to store this frame long term. I suspect I am going to be owning it for quiet some time. May wind up building a car around it if it doesn't sell. Maybe another racer...not sure yet. LOL.
