Found the one I have on eBay.
EBay Seller's name is pump427. Super nice guy.
He sometimes has stuff not on eBay.
He gave me what I consider a decent price on a very rare piece.
Kind Regards,
Bill

I'd like to talk more about that with you.
How much $$$ would you want to do that?
I spoke with Pump427 a few weeks ago. He said in 20 years he's only had 2 of them. He also mentioned what it would cost if I did find one.
I was wondering if the Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, and Chevy books are the same as Corvette besides the Model name on the cover. If they were, then changing just the cover would be ideal since Pump427 has all of those for 1970.

Hi,
I took a look at my 71 Booklet and it's noted that some of the information in it pertains to only Corvettes.
So at least for 71 just changing the cover wouldn't quite work.
Perhaps it would with 70 though… but I doubt it, since the information the booklet has to do with certain power outputs tested for 'passing times' and 'passing distances', cars with F70-15 tires, and cars with 4 wheel disc brakes.
I'm curious about a making a 'copy'… do you have a source for the rather odd paper it was printed on? It seems to me to be almost like very heavy newsprint.
Getting the right 'paper' has continued to be the problem for folks trying to do reproduction key envelopes, license screw envelopes, and radio information booklets.
Regards,
Alan

Making a copy is ok if you want to display a copy. But it will not look real as the real ones are booklets that are stapled in the center. You would have to copy double sided on 16 inch paper than cut them down to strips, fold in the middle then staple. Good luck with that.
Pump427 (Jan is his name) is a good guy. He's actually bought lots of things from me on ebay and we trade often.
The 70 sheet is very hard to find. Could be anywhere from $200-300 if you are buying it from someone who knows what it is. Every once in awhile you will get one real cheap if the seller just throws one up there for a inexpensive "buy it now"with other paperwork they found at a garage sale or something. I see it happen fairly often with other hard to find paperwork.

Also, if you like paperwork (as much as I do) and want to get everything for your 1970, you will want the Warranty and Owner Resposibily pamphlet. These are also pretty hard to find and extremely hard to find without a dealer stamp.
Here is a picture of what I'm talking about.

Making a copy of yours is a very generous offer !!!
I'd like to talk more about that with you.

I would only ask to be reimbursed for the printing and postage.

Is that supposed to be part of the 1970 paperwork?

Let me know if that is possible.
I still want an original which will most likely take a long time to find but a copy for now will work.
Thank You !!!

I'm not sure about it being a NCRS points item but every 70 Chevy came with them.
I know NCRS has it listed in the 1969 T&JG owners packet information under the "Storage compartment" section. I would think it would be listed for 1970 as well. I don't have the 1970 T&JG.
The one you just bought is like new. I think there is another one on eBay but its a bit more expensive.
I'll have it out tomorrow.
Thanks again,
Ed
