I have some hard vacuum lines Bob. I need a little more information though. What year is your application? A picture or diagram would help a bunch as well, visual guy here. Let me know if you can find a reference part picture or diagram and I will check mine. Paragon sells a vacuum modulator line (part number 4061) which may be what you are looking for, take a peak and let me know if this is the part you need please).

Here is what they show. Is this what you are looking for? I think I have it here if it is. If not, Paragon has them. David

hang on, a turbo 400 doesnt use a vacuum line. a turbo 350 does. Davids post shows the correct line for that application.
the 400 uses no vacuum line and an electric kick down on the throttle
the turbo 350 uses a vacuum line for the modulator valve and it uses a mechanical kick down with a cable. maybe that helps. good luck, tony

Th400 uses a vacuum source for the modulator just like a th350 does.
You're correct that the Th 400 uses an electric kickdown where the th350 uses a cable.

You can substitute a simple rubber vacuum line between the manifold and modulator. It will work fine until you locate the replacement hard line.

I used a rubber line for years until I finally got a steel repro for my '72 TH400. When I removed the rubber for the steel line it was in rough shape, from the heat I guess, but it did work. The repro wasn't a perfect but with massaging it works well. Good luck!
