As many of you know I purchased and retrieved a 1978 Silver Anniversary car over the weekend. I purchased it for the restored chassis which is even better than I had hoped. I will make it better, but I am happy with it and happy with the purchase.
I have parts that I won’t be able to use and I will be glad to make them available to others at reduced prices because I would like to see them get used.
I don’t have pictures of the parts yet which is always a negative but I wanted to get the data out here as quickly as possible because all are being offered as “pick up at my home or pick up at Carlisle” prices.
Here we go:
1) I have a pair of Oyster seats. These are leather and in fair condition. They include the seat tracks which move freely. They do have some surface tears that I would live with but you may not like so pictures will be important. I am asking $200 for each seat or $350 for the pair or best offer. Remember, these do include the seat tracks.
2) I have a pair of Oyster door panels. These are for a manual window car so they have manual handle door holes in them. They are fair in condition. I am asking $60 each or $100 for the pair.
3) I have the front dash. It is Oyster in color and in pretty good condition. I am asking $100 or best offer for the entire dash pad. It includes the glove compartment door, etc.
4) I have lower rocker panel covers. I will get pictures of the condition but $50 will buy them both.
5) I have four (4) 25th anniversary wheels. These are aluminum and have the red lines around the outer rim which you can strip off if you want these for another year car. They are dirty but I found no curb rash on them at all. I am asking $300 for the four of them. Two have BF Goodrich Radial TA tires on them which I would be glad to leave or take off, or best offer all.
6) I have a rear differential. It is a OK code which is a 3.08 from the 78. It has 57,000 actual miles on it, has play in it, good for a refresh or restore. I am asking $350 for it either picked up here at my home or delivered to Carlisle. Pictures to follow.
7) I have the front firewall from the 78. It had been removed to restore the birdcage which has been restored to better than new. I can bring the firewall, cannot bring the birdcage at this time. I am asking $250 for the firewall complete or best offer, pictures coming today.
8) I have the rear window shade assembly and I will include the trim as well. It is in good condition and I believe ready for use. I am asking $200 for it complete or best offer. Pictures today.
Those are some of the largest and heaviest items I can recall now which makes them ideal to bring to Carlisle. There are many, many, many more parts but I have not had a chance to unpack and inventory them yet so I won’t waste your time with them here. I wanted to make these available before Carlisle in case someone can use them. Pictures will follow today, I promise, I just have not unloaded these items from my trailer yet, but I will soon.

78-79 should be the same dash.
You can dye it any color you want or need, SEM makes a great dye for doing this.

Seats need to be cleaned.
Dash pad has one small crack. Can be dyed to match.
Door panels not great but can be utilized.

Hi David,
Make me a deal on the rear bumper (whatever you want) and I'll pick it up at Carlisle.
I decided to go with the 74-77 pace car rear spoiler that I already have. instead of the one pc fiberglass 80-82 style.

I got three doors with the 78. One is electric and has the internal parts still in it. Two were manual doors but have been emptied so they are shells that could be used for either electric or manual windows.
Original gas tank and restored front extension on the right.
Original fan shroud is dirty but no breaks anywhere.
Interior pads, rear and door and T-Top. Both doors, both quarters, both t-tops. Seat belts not sorted out yet.

Carlisle delivery opportunity is quickly approaching my cut-off time of 5:00 pm (17:00) Wednesday, August 23rd. I have my truck and trailer loading in full swing now and only items that have sold or are being delivered is currently on board.
