C3 Halogen H4 headlight upgrade
Selling my C3 upgraded headlights... these probably have less than an hour of operating time on them, but with the purchase of my FIA lights, I cannot use these with the lexan lenses.
Includes 2 high-beam and two low-beam glass/metal housings, and 4 new halogen bulbs. Just as pictured. Recommended to be used with upgraded wiring harness, or at the least with a relay system to get maximum power to the bulbs. This was a huge upgrade over the stock lighting, and I hate to lose this, but I can't risk melting down the plastic FIA lenses on my new set-up. Just as pictured, $65 plus shipping, price is firm. Thanks for looking.

This is a pretty standard upgrade for any older vehicle to give you brighter, safer nighttime lighting. The upgraded harness with ceramic headlight plugs, relays, etc. is available from many Corvette vendors, and even on ebay, and is fairly inexpensive. In the case of our C3s, you would need the 4 connector harness. The high beam positive/ground wire on these bulbs would plug directly into your stock or upgraded socket, and the low beams are plug and play just like stock. It really is very simple, essentially you are getting power from the battery/alternator, NOT from the headlamp switch. You won't be burning out headlight switches any longer, and your driving experience at night is literally a night and day difference. Pun partially intended! I have attached a picture of a harness, and what the wiring diagram looks like. It can be done in a few hours.

I did this upgrade with the type of wiring harness displayed and it works awesome. I also drilled 1 small hole in the bulb housing big enough for the fiberoptic system to plug into and they work as well. The wiring harness displayed plugs into one of the sttock plugs and just actuates the relay. I took the high beam sockets and just flipped them upside down and plugged them in so only the high beam would actuate, not the low beam so I dont have 4 low beams
