Default Power Brake Booster for Early 70 Corvette

I am looking for a power brake booster dated late 1969 or January, 1970. It can be a core or already restored.

Thanks,
Allen

Thanks mk8035, if it is the original from your 76 it won't have the right date code. If you or someone has exchanged it for a rebuilt one, then it might have the right date.

The first part of the stamp would be something like:

9K 1 365B

The 9 is for 1969 and the 365 would be December 31.

I have a core but date is 7K8 317C 10842 needs a total rebuild. 20.00 plus shipping
I also have an NOS brake booster in the GM box no stampings. But if you handy get some stamps and stamp it your self. Not so difficult.
It does have some sort of lead tape to it with a long part numbers taped to the booster That can be taken off.
135.00 shipped

grantwong@telus.net if anyone is interested

The code is stamped on the circumference of the booster within about an inch of where it is crimped together. It runs parallel to the crimp.

I didn't know where to check for or how to read the date code on the boosters so thank you for that information, very helpful and I can check my dates now. I know I don't have a 69 here so good luck with your search and thanks again.

72corvette,

Thanks very much for looking. But I am pretty sure the 1 is for 1971 and the 164 is the 164th day of 1971.

I am needing one starting with 9 with a day code higher than 217 or one starting with 0 with a day code less than 35.

Thanks again,
Allen
