Get a big flat sheet of cardboard. Start rolling and razor knife hanging folding in essentially build the Box around the head once you wrap it into two layers of cardboard it's pretty safe and pretty small and will ship for about 35 to $40 a head. That's FedEx ground is usually the best price.

There is a Fastenal location near my home at 77086. They use a 3rd party carrier for typically palletized LTL shipments. If palletizing is their best method, I can do that. UPS or FEDEX will be boxed. Just to confirm, you will be paying prior to shipment $100.00 plus shipping.
