Default $78.00 Year End Sale

My wife and I called this our "donor" car because it has donated many parts to the 1977 and 1978 chassis builds I have going on now. I have a few parts from that car that are in excellent condition and now and it has contributed many parts to members that needed them here on the forum.

I am very happy with the distribution of parts from the car thus far but there are a few more parts looking for homes and I would like to get some space back from my garage so I am looking for good homes for some great parts.

Here is a list of remaining parts that I have; their condition; their pricing; and some general information about each.

1) Seat pair; leather covered, white in color, with seat tracks and backs. SOLD.

2) Front bumper extension, center to frame mount, metal. Condition very good. Were media blasted and painted with POR-15 and is ready to install. SOLD.

3) Rear frame metal two piece sub-bumper. These two parts assemble together to form the rear brace mounting to the rear frame shocks. Condition, very good. Media blasted and painted with POR-15. SOLD.

4) Rear frame shocks. These mount on the rear of the frame and the rear steel bumper braces mount to these. They are impact absorbing. Innovative in their time. I have a pair of the them. Condition is good. These should be cleaned and painted before use. SOLD.

5) Spring. I always get the count wrong on the leaves so it is either a sever or a nine leaf spring. From a 1969. SOLD.

6) Pair of T-Tops. Condition good. These have been stripped of paint and still include the interior hardware. They were removed from a 1978. SOLD.

All of these parts are as described. I know pictures would be helpful and when the temperatures get above freezing again I might just do that but for now they are in secured storage, two miles from my home, and did I mention it is freezing out there?

The parts are not in the way so leaving them in storage now until someone can use them is not a problem. I will leave this for sale ad up for as long as it takes to have them sold and gone.

Those are the larger and bulky parts I have left. Everything else I have is smaller in size and easier to store, handle, ship, etc. I'll get around to listing those parts in the next few weeks as I organize my basement and sort through the parts.

If you have questions let me know. I am glad to cut a deal for someone wanting some, many, or all of the parts listed above; just PM me and we can discuss.

Thank you for reading this and for looking.

Best regards and Happy New Year.

David Howard

Good morning David,

I could use the seats, one of mine has track/frame problems. Be happy to come down and pick them and the VCs up anytime convenient for you.

Thank as always,

Hi Joe, and thank you. The valve covers shipped out yesterday and will arrive to you by Tuesday but not a problem. Come down anytime you want for the seats, I will hold them for you. I may be able to get up to Scranton area if that would help shorten your drive, we could catch lunch and catch up if you have the time. Just an option. Either way they are yours.

Sounds good to me! I have a lot more free time this time of year in my line of work, we'll firm something up in the next week or two. A day that it is sunny or at least ZERO chance of snow would be a great day to take a drive; been really gloomy here this winter.

I would like the old style transmission crossmember for an automatic.
It has the two holes for the exhaust system and bolts in.

Thanks,
Craig

Currently not shipping any of these items but if you are coming to the area please let me know and I can tag it for you so it doesn't sell before you get here.

Thank you and best regards,

David

So do the trailing arms have new bearings installed? I am guessing I can just install my dust shields. Mine are in need of new bearings due to play and noise. I know you say your not shipping but maybe we can arrange something. Thanks Brian

I cannot confirm if these have new bearings or not as I have not taken them apart. They came with the 1978 donor car when I bought it and one dust shield was installed, the other was not. I was going to use them rebuilt by Bairs Corvette but realized I only needed the one new pair that I have, so I am making these available.

No shipping currently available on these parts due to size and weight though but thank you for asking.

Best regards and Happy New Year.

The year has ended but the sale continues. Will run this until the parts are sold or I get tired of waiting. Back to the top for today and thanks for looking.

Hey David, I've PM'd the guy with the Bendpak lift near you. If by chance we are able to put something together on the lift, I'd love to take the fiberglass T tops (or if you consider shipping them). Thanks.

Let me know how it goes with Rich on the Bendpak. If you buy it and come and get it I would be glad to help with the loading and can bring my T-Tops up with me for sure. Rich and I are only about five miles apart. If you do not buy it we can discuss shipping them though that might be expensive.

Good luck and let me know.

It did, yes, but that part has been sold and is gone already. Sorry. Very few parts left now.
