Looking for a Cragar rear window louver for a very low mile 1982, as pictured in this feed on the red and black cars.

You can buy new if no used ones become available. Astra-Hammond makes the aluminum louvers for the 78-82's. Jegs sells them for 319.00 a set.

Saw a set on a car for sale at Mecum Indianapolis (not too far from you) in May.

Those look sharp! Ok AGENTCOZ, now I see exactly what you are looking for, and will definitely keep on the lookout for you up this way. On a quick side note, do you by any chance ever happen to make it up to the cruise in at the "Suds" in Greenwood on Saturday nights?

I am familiar with the Suds in Greenwood. Actually, I lived in Greenwood for about 8-9 years. I’ve eaten there but never participated in the cruise ins. I’ve grown up around Corvettes my whole life, traveled to the big shows with my dad, who had show cars, sold parts, and restored mid year wheels for some of the best show cars. However, it took the C7 to win my interest, and I picked one up for a special Bday present to myself last winter. I recently acquired the C3 from my dad, he is a collector from Bedford. He’s indicated a desire to slowly liquidate these 3k mile C3s. They are showroom condition.
Anyway, what’s the story with the Suds these days? Schedule? Much participation?

Yes, please keep an eye out for the louvers.

The Suds is still jumping on Saturday evenings...LOTS of cars to look at, and always a good time. Let me know if you ever plan on coming up...I always enjoy meeting fellow "car guys" and having an ice cream to boot!

Welllll, I am NOT! =). Since I have never touched a pair. I made that assumption and am really glad you caught my mistake, because I will need to change my ad! I generally wanted to avoid plastic, but I wanted that look. If it’s plastic then so be it. =)
Don’t suppose yoir interested in selling yours?
Thank You!

Nope - sorry! But they do pop up here for sale occasionally. Usually $300+ though (I think I paid $350 if I remember correctly). Just be patient and bring up your 'wanted to buy' post periodically. Check craigslist and E-Bay too...

If you don't locate one and if you are not going to Carlisle I'd be glad to look for you. I have a Carlisle Wish list post in the C-3 General section.
Good luck with your search.
