Lanny, I think anyone who works on their car will have a set of parts that are either wrong or fall under what was I thinking category.
Up at the top there is a "Pay it Forward" sticky in the general section that starts about this time every year. Think of it as a Holiday grab bag of Vette parts.
Member one man's error/junk is another mans' treasure.

French locks (another set) GM 3860543 - new,
Clutch fork pivot, screws into bell housing - used,
Valve cover grommet, A8183 - new,
Prothane sway bar poly bushings, 7/8", red, 88-7544N - new,
Prothane poly ball joint boots, black, 19-1715-Bl - new,
