I have no idea 62 Corvette. Have had them for years, don't see using anytime soon. There are no issues however with their functionality.

Mike is that the factory look. Do they attach to the latches

Factory look yes....pins attach to the hood mounting plates. Pins slide through the latches to secure hood in the closed position.
