I didn't think you could get a 70 LT-1 with power steering ...

I didn’t think P/S was available in ‘70 either. I would try the L46 pulley. I do not know if that is different from the L48 setup.

PS was NOT a option on 1970 LT-1'S. They had a 6 QT oil pan that would not let the cylinder to clear it. Later GM went to a 5QT pan that would in 71.

Power Steering was an option on 1970 LT1s after they changed the oil pan to a 5 quart. The engine suffix changed to CTK i believe.

Kind Regards,

Bill

Bill is correct as early 70 LT1 did have the power steering option how ever it is up to the owner to prove it was factory installed.
However I have a single grooved pulley that is the same configuration as in the Judging manual. I am not up to par on small blocks just Big block stuff, But is there a stamped number on the 70 Lt1 pulley and if any one knows please post the part number
Thanks, grant

The car has to be built after April or May.

Have unrestored ‘70 LT-1 with PS with June build and CTK suffix.
