AM Tops (cloth tops for T-Top) for C3 Corvette
Looking to find a nice set of "AM Tops" for C3 Corvette coupes. They are canvas type material with a metal frame that fold for storage and lock in place just like the T-tops do (not Velcro like the ones they sell on Eckler now).
Let me know if you have any for sale or know of someone who does.
Thank you,
OLE442

How can you tell if they’re AM tops?
The ones that Eckler sells appear to be one piece that fits over the whole T top area as best I can tell. They appear to be held down somehow with Velcro which I’m not too fond about sticking Velcro on my car!!
So if they’re older and they are two separate T-top panels does that mean they are AM tops?
Anyone have pictures of a set? I just don’t want to buy a used set and find out they’re the wrong ones… They say the AM tops are the best and don’t leak!!

IIRC mine have a tag on the inside that says AM Top, I'll check when I'm in the garage today
For now

Label on the inside
Two tabs go into the center t-top slots (this picture the top isn't fully un-folded as can be seen in the center hinge not open all the way)
The front outer corner has a pin that drops into the guide hole (same as stock) and a bracket turns to lock it in place (as opposed to the levers)
The back has a spring loaded pin, on mine, the car has the later style pin (single lever tops)
Or the bullet unscrews and a set of these go on to grab the triangle guide on the older style
The bullets or triangle tips are not available so make sure you get what you need because it's hard to find otherwise, (I had to make the bullet tips for mine)

Thank you Paul (docmow) for making these available to me. Payment is on the way and I'll work on the driver's side to get it to work a bit better. I'm happy you offered them to me.
Paul is a great member to deal with and has been very helpful in my search for a set of these canvas tops!
Thanks again to all who responded,
