Richmond 6 spd, just out of the shop
2.77 first
1 to 1 5th
.62 6th
26 spline with Long shifter
This tranny has approx 5000 street miles on it. I just had the synchros, sliders and a gear replaced. It is ready to bolt in.
First $2200.00 gets the tranny and a barely used Centerforce Dual friction 26 spline clutch.

Re: Richmond 6 spd, just out of the shop (69 N.O.X. RATT)
Wish I had the cash or I'd buy it  . I'm going to install the Centerforce DF with my new motor, and hope to get that same tranny next year

Hey Ratt, I have been considering a richmond 6 spd but I am wondering why you had to have so much work done on it in such few miles? Also I am curious if they are as hard shifting as I have heard? And is it quiet in overdrive? Thanks SSS

I put mine behind a nitrous assisted big block and it would not take the power. I have had two of the ROD's and they both shifted pretty well, I do not know where that hard shifting rap comes from, possibly improper alignment when installing.

Just for clarrification I did not hurt all the parts I replaced. The tranny started to make noise when I shifted, that was it, it never broke a gear or anything like that. When I finally took it in the tranny shjop said it would be a good idea to replace the other stuff.
