#3963512 4 Bolt Block WANTED:
Looking for a late 69-early 70, 427-454 (4) bolt block. Prefer standard bore but will consider all except a .100 over motor. Please, no grenaded or welded up blocks, would consider one that has been sleeved.
Willing to pay good money for the right one, not willing to pay a fortune just for a bare block, if you have one semi complete, I'll pay accordingly.
I've advertised before in other sites and made the mistake of saying I would pay up to 5K for the right one, you wouldn't believe how many folks got off the couch to try and cash in on this one, yes, I'll pay 5k for one complete with 291 heads and numbers I need. Just wanted you to know where I'm coming from. Thanks and if you don't have one but know someone who does, I'll pay a finders fee to you if your deal works out.

Re: #3963512 4 Bolt Block WANTED: (BillsVette)
I have spoken to the gentleman that has the block that Bill linked to on the Chevelle site. It has a casting date of H-8-69 and T0818LM on the pad.

Re: #3963512 4 Bolt Block WANTED: (Dwaynes69BB)
Dwayne,
Thanks. I'm looking for something a little later, more like Late December of 69 to early March of 70. Still want a 3963512 block. Looked at one last night (370 miles one way) and it was not what the guy said it was, was a 512 block with CRR code and dated March 28,70, and dated 291 heads, had the wrong pistons, wrong intake, wrong timing cover, wrong pan, wrong cam and he wanted 5K, I offered him $4,800 and he declined. I hate when folks are not honest and you drive for 12 hours only to be dissapointed, I even asked about the pistons before I went to look at it! This guy was a hot rod guy, not a numbers guy but someone told him he was sitting on a gold mine with this motor, he still sitting on it and I walked away. I'll find the right one sooner or later. Thanks guys,
Jeff :mad :cuss :beatdeadhorse:
