71 seat color?

71 seat color?
Was there more than one shade of saddle used in 71s? My Corvette by the numbers book only shows 2 trim codes one for saddle leather and the other for saddle vinyl. Some of the parts catalogs list a light saddle and a dark saddle for 70-72, so were both availabe or isthe catalog wrong?
