A new rust remover???
Anyone try this stuff? Saw it at the car show today $28/gallon. Too many people gawkin', didn't want to wait in line. Looked impressive. Guy said it was reusable but would turn black after a few times. Eventually would "wear out."
I don't have experience with that stuff, but I had similar results with just plain distilled vinegar, $1.50/gallon. Except that is acid so it will eat the metal and leave pits on the surface if you leave it in too long Other than that, after enough time in the solution the rust will just bubble up a little and you can rub it off with your hands. I've found electrolysis works pretty well too.

Incredible. I tried vinegar but it takes much longer (days) and sometimes etches the surface. It also left a black carbon coating on some head bolts I had.
jughead, are those your pics or someone else's? The pics you're showing are incredible if you can literally buy it in a bottle DIY style and get the results in a reasonable amount of time.
I bet we were at the same show, Carl Casper? I thought the polish stuff that they were demonstrating was pretty cool as well. In about 30 seconds they would polish the bottom of a pop can and have it looking like chrome. Had some beer kegs they had polished that looked amazing...

those are pictures from the site above.
I ordered some, let you know how it works out next week. Supposed to work within hours and not days.
jughead, I'm going to hold you to your promise on posting feedback on the product. I'm about to do my frame and was going to sandblast it next week. If this stuff works, I may just change my plan.
