Default vette pics

OK. I figured out how to add pics. Here's our car:

It's a '79. 87K miles. We're the 3rd owner. Mostly stock. L-48, auto, T-tops, leather trim, PW, PDL, cruise, tilt/tele wheel. The AC was converted to R134a. Brakes were rebuilt. New belts and hoses. New cat back exhaust. New weatherstripping. New paint. The seats were recovered so the interior is in pretty good shape. My plans for the near future are to fix a transmission pan gasket leak, fix the sagging door hinges, fix the tempermental power locks, new stereo, and put a dual exhaust on. Other than that, just drive it as a summer cruiser.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Nice looking paint scheme. I like it. Did you come up with the design? Mine hasn't been moved in so long the battery was too weak to start it earlier today and it is sunny and 75 here. Got to get that car out today if it's the last thing I do today.

Wow beautiful. One of my new billet fuel doors would look awesome on that ride. I will email you a pic when available in a few weeks.

After getting a few PM's on how I posted my photos, it occurred to me that there are other newbies wondering the same thing. Just in case anyone else wants to know, here's what I did:

Go to Other..Member Galleries

or here

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/photopost/index.php

click Upload Photos

browse for your photos, select the categories, and follow the instructions to add the photos to the database.

When complete, they should be in your My Gallery. It took about a day for my images to be approved.
After that, you should be able to go to your My Gallery and view the photos.

To add a photo to a thread: When you have a photo open, right click and select Properties. Highlight the path including everything like http:\\blahblahblah.jpg and press Ctrl-C to copy. Then, if you want to insert it into a forum thread, you can click the Image icon and press Ctrl-V to paste the path into the field.

Now let's see those pics.

Nice neighbourhood. Glad to see there is a balance between the car and house.

That's a very nice vette you have yourself! Thanks everyone for the compliments. No, I didn't select the scheme. The guy I bought it from painted it. He did the graphics himself.
