Can headlight switch in 79 leak vacuum?
The other day I noticed that when listening very very closely I can "hear" vacuum at the headlight switch. When I shut the lights the vacuum noise goes away. Is it possible for the switch to be leaking vacuum? Gonna try and get my hand up there and see what I feel. I also believe from prior posts that the switch is not that difficult to replace? Any vendors with a well made switch? My drivers side headlight opens in about 3-5 seconds, the passenger side takes maybe 8-10 seconds. Drivers side actuator holds 10 inches vacuum forever, pass side leaks down to about 8 in 1-2 minutes. Also when you turn on the headlights the a/c stops blowing out of the dash vents and goes to the floor vent.
