Default Skipping, sputtering, and so on...

Alright... the Vette was running great and then one day it will barely start. We check spark and a lot of the cylinders are skipping. However, it's not always the same. Sometimes two will skip, then another time three will, then another time two different ones.

After going through some things we thought it might be the distributor, since it's old and was never rebuilt. I replaced it with a brand new Mallory. Once we started it up and adjusted the timing again, it ran great.

For a week. Now it's running bad again. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Thanks!
Jerry

Nope; I forgot to mention that it is new plugs and wires, too.
