Default 68 wire harness advice

Hi Guys,
I started today putting the 68 427 convertible back together after receiving it back from the paintshop last week. I bought all the wire harnesses new since the original ones were totally messed up. I somehow missed the power window harness and would like to purchase it ASAP.

Question: there is a power window harness for $143 at corvette central part Nr. 663115 . i Question next to the price it says each!
does it mean 1 need 2 of those? Are those harnesses just plug and go?

I got the power window connectors from the motor to the harness plug, a black and yellow wire. Is this power window harness just a connector from the motors to the switches and the power lines?

The wiring diagramm on my assembly manual does not show anything about the power window lines. Does anyone have such a Diagram which could share over the net?

Thanks a lot,

Dan

You just need 1 P/W harness.

I don't have a diagram handy, sorry. It has a relay under dash, goes out to each window, and has the switches in the console. I think there is only 1 power wire and a ground to hook up.

I buy my harnesses from The Last Detail in Atlanta, GA. Best prices I have found on Lectric Limited harnesses.

Dan,
I offer full color wiring diagrams for Corvettes from 1953 through 1979. They are about 22x34" and include ALL electrical diagrams even the options. Alos included are the fuse/circuit breakers, lamps, and a vacuum diagram for the lamps, heater-a/c and wipers.

Dan,
I purchased the wiring diagram that Don (Vetsvette2002) is referring to and I have to say it is a piece that is worth framing and putting on the wall. It is in color and is laminated and worth getting. Disclaimer: I don't know Don, have no interest financial or otherwise in his company. Just a satisfied customer. Used it for my 68 restoration.
