Default Front End Rebuild

Well after reading all these threads about front-end rebuilds, spring removal and replacement and waiting 6-months to get my car home from the Body Shop Jail it was finally time to rebuild the front end on my 68 BB Coupe. Thanks to my buddies at Year-One I received a complete VBP deluxe front end kit at a very fair price too I might add. Well D-Day arrived last week, over to ny buddies house and up on the lift it goes. After 3-4 hours of removing the headers, radiator, hood, spark plugs etc it was time. You guys had me scared to death with the coil spring thing I just knew I was going to be wearing a 550 lb spring as a neck tie !! Oh well it went great my trusty 2- ton jack under the lower control arm worked great, as a matter of fact the spring just fell out on the floor. Shew that went easy now I am wondering how the reinstall will go! Well after getting the A-Arms back from the machine shop (Yea I fudged I had them do the bushings, been there done that before) it was time to reinstall. Same technique I used the jack under the A-Arm jacked the arm up reconnected the upper ball joint and I was done. All in all it went great now time for the engine detailing !!
