Ok how many of you have decided to take this job on? How many are going to farm it out to someone and how many just don't care!

So I wrote the paper, took the pictures, the only thing I didn't do was go to your place and rebuild it for you!!

So let me know what you think, feedback is good.

Contact me if you want this or something else done. Also, you'll notice I used the cap screws on the bearing caps. Hope it helps you wrenchers out there. This job take a lot of patience,if you don't have it or the tools, drink and beer and call me!!
Time to start the next one,but first soem dinner!!!

Gary

Gary is no longer here on CF. You can find him at Digital Corvettes forum under the same name.

Ha! Gary, that looks all too familiar! I keep my fingers crossed for no more diff issues almost every time I take the car out! A few years now since the rebuild that you assisted us with re parts and advice etc

I love the gear whine of my solid mounted diff (steel biscuits). absolutely, love it.
it is very subtle, though. you have to be listening for it, no radio.
