What does the percentage number mean next to the total post number? Most indicate 100%

You know, I was wondering the same thing. First I was thinking maybe it was % here vs. % in off topic, but I'm sure it's not that looking at some of the high count hard core off topic poster's % numbers. :jester Anyone know?

All right. Still haven't gotten an answer, yet! I was wondering the same thing, too.

Let's bring it back up,to the top and see if we can get an explaination.

How 'bout it, what does the percentage number mean?

It is a rating of sorts for the moderators/admins. If you start to cause problems on the forum mods/admins can deduct percentage points until you hit 0%. Once you hit 0% I think you get banned, but I'm not positive on that part.

Oy, I sure hope it's not a "troublemaker" rating! That'd smell a little too much like big-brotherish coersion to me--"hey, you say things we don't like you get a bad rating for everyone to see." Will my percentage go down because I wrote this? I can't believe that's really what it is.

That would be a very good idea. The more time in off topic the lower the no.
This is a Corvette forum so % on Corvette topics makes sense.

Asking questions on this is about like asking about the knowledge of good & evil.
Some guy has already been down to 3% in off topic, but was bumped up to 10%.
