Default ? How to paint the red stripe on Pace Car wheels?

I am planning to paint the red strip on an extra set of wheel, for my Pace Car. If it went on the outside edge, it would be fairly easy. But, the stripe is located about 3/8" from the edge and about 5/16" wide. Can't apply masking tape in a circle???? Can't free hand paint??? Is there a wick type devise for this job?? or ?? Any suggestions, would be appreciated.

Thank, Bill

I would not use paint, but instead tape.

I am looking into some reflective red tape made for wheels from http://www.tapeworks.com
They have tape for motorcycle wheels there -- take a look at that. http://www.tapeworks.com/Pages/neon.html http://www.tapeworks.com/RimStealth/Rimstealth.html
It should work nicely in any color.

Eastwood sells a roller device for laying down pinstrips. Check out their website and see if you can find it. It is made by Beugler but it is pretty expensive at $139.00. The 5/16" roller is an extra $19.99. It has a guide bar that can be adjusted out to different widths away from a guide point. It would probably work for your wheels.

BSeery-------Thanks for the imformation and web sites. Intimidator454 says tape worked for him. So, I will try tape. If I can't find some locally, that will work, I will order from the web site. Hope to do this tomorrow ------ Tires to be mounted Monday. Will then be able to put some miles on this Pace Car, with out fear of blowing out the 23 year old tires.

Smokehouse69mark2 ----- The roller applicator sound like the perfect tool for this job, but more $$$$ than my budget can handle. Thanks for info.

Bill
