Brake Master Cylinder - Need Gasket @ firewall?
I purchased a brake master cylinder and no gasket came with it for mounting between the master cylinder flange base and the firewall. I would assume this gasket i soley to prevent outside elements from getting into the passenger compartment. WIth this in mind, I was going to make one out of gasket material. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments?

When I replaced my master cylinder I believe I purchased one from Zip. I think it was more of a foam gasket than a traditional paper type gasket. They're inexpensive.
