Vette Fest - Valparaiso, IN
Anyone going to the Vette Fest in Valparaiso IN?? August 18th and 19th. Looking for friends to cruise down from Western Michigan. :seeya

Hey you should wait till the next weekend ,and go up to mackinaw city to the corvette show , it is alot of fun !!!!!

I'll be there but, then again, I live in Valpo. The Valpo Vettes, to which I belong, sponsors the Saturday night cruise. Any interest in some of the members meeting somewhere for dinner after the cruise?

How about Kelsey's Steak House??? I lived in Valpo for 6 years before moving to Grand Rapids. I know Ken Blaney from Kelsey's....I'm assuming he still owns it!!)
I used to live in Washington Square right off of Rigg Road. First house in the subdivision in 1990.....now it's full!!

I'd go if it wasn't for school. I live in Greenfield, IN. Also my dad is on a business trip in Bosten for like two weeks. He is the only one I'd go with.

Sounds like a plan! I'll meet you, and anyone else out there, at Kelsey's Steakhouse (on Hwy 30 for others) after the Cruise. The Cruise launches about 6:00 pm and lasts about an hour or so. If I get my 1963 back, I'll be driving a 1963 silver coupe. Also I'll be parked with the Valpo Vettes all day. Ask for Dick, the bald guy with the silver '63. As you know, it's a small town so they will know who I am.

Well this sounds like it's going to be a great time. I've made my Hotel Reservations, my son is coming instead of my wife.....so it's guys night out!!! We'll probably cruise into Valpo about 4:00. Where does everyone meet?? At the Fairgrounds??? My son (17) is absolutely going to love seeing all of the Vettes......well, I guess I will too a little!! :seeya
