Anyone using a Weiand Team G Aluminum Water Pump on their Vette??
I just ordered one, PN 8220, and it just doesn't look like it is going to fit. My pulley is 3.75" deep with two grooves. It looks like the pump has 3.5" clearance for the pulley. Please, someone tell me that they are using this pump with success. This is the second aluminum pump I have ordered. The first didn't clear the pulley either.

If it doesn't fit maybe you can grind it down just enough to work.

Possibly. Just something about taking a grinder to a brand new $150 water pump. :(

I have it on my 82 Vette, #8220. It fits perfect, no problems at all. It with a Griffin aluminum radiator, 160 degree thermostat and I have trouble getting the car to operating temps. I can run Road Atlanta and not overheat at all. Car stays 160-180 all day long.
