Can I take you for a ride in my 77?
Last night I was able to get the digital camera from work. My and Kim were taking videos of the new house, while cruising past it in the Vette. Once we shot the last video, the temp gauge went up to the red mark. :mad Good thing I was close to home! Any-ways, the videos are on http://www.geocities.com/skeels02/house
There is also a link there to see a few shots of the house, the garage, and the yard. (Yes I still have a ton of yard work to do. I don't think the yard has been maintained since the eighties!!)
I guess bad things happen in threes? The dryer went south last Friday, then the Vette overheated, then the dish washer died! What a day, what a day!

Ya, love that sound. Mine almost sounds like that but not quite. Actually, I have no idea what exaust is on mine. It's not stock because it's a true dual exaust with no cats. I have stock manifolds. And my name is jon too, :jester
What kind of hp you think you're running? I have that exaust system, with a slight bore on the cylinders. You don't suppose I could get my tires to smoke do you?
Oh, and one more thing. You dont mind if I put a link on my site to yours do you? If you want, you can link to mine :D http://www.geocities.com/wrenchhead454

My exhaust system is actually very simple. I am running the original ram-horn manifolds into the original front y-pipe. Instead of a converter, I installed a test pipe. After the test pipe I installed a new 2.5" rear y-pipe, and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. When I bought the mufflers, everybody said to get the delta-flows, because they are quiet. I did not really want a quiet car. :D True, at certain RPM the 40 series are a little loud, a little metalic sounding, but when you mash the throttle, the car sounds great.
My Vette is waiting for a new radiator now. It should be here Monday by noon. It looks like I'll be driving the Saturn to the Corvette Club picnic on Sunday.

Great videos! And I agree, excellent exhaust tone :D I've been trying to come up with a way to mount a camera near the rear bumper of a car so I could get a NASCAR-like shot of the vette coming up to say 'hi' ! I bet a fisheye lens view of a shark speeding up for a 'feeding' would look awesome...

Saturn at the club picnic? What's with the radiator and can it be recored?
It's hard to find anybody that recores radiators anymore. Especially at 4:00pm Friday afternoon. Radiator slid right out. I left the shroud in, and pulled the radiator right out. I bought a new 4-core radiator for $200. The guy there said a recore would probably run about $180-$190. Corvette Central wanted $295.00!

if you get this to work, be sure to hook us up with some video action. If it's an expensive camera, make sure you have it on tight!!!! ;)

Don't suppose there is a chance that you might be taking any more videos is there? It would be awesome to see what its like taking a full ride :p: I wish I had a digital camera. If you did that, dont worry about the size, I have cable.
