Where are all the ground straps on a 75?
I have been having charging problems with the 75 since I put the BB in. The alternator is new and checks out fine when tested. The battery is also good. The only ground strap I have found other than the negative cable from block to frame is one on the right rear frame rail. Are there others I am missing that can cause a problem?

I am sorta doing this from memory, but on my 69 there were the two you mentioned, the one at the antenna base, one from the exhaust to the frame by the transmission crossmember (I can't remember exactly where), and one up under the driver's side gills (I don't remember where this one connected to either). I think there were 5 all together (actual ground straps, not just grounding points). Hope that helps some.

There's one at the left rear for the antenna, the battery ground, one by the brake proportioning valve to the bellhousing, one on the right side of the block to the frame.

Is it a "one wire" alternator? If so, you may need to increase battery cable size, because of distance between reg. and battery. Check it out.

The engine should be grounded between, the motor mount bolt(at block) or other suitable engine ground, and the frame.
