I agree 100%. I would definately consider them if i was in the market for a crate. Hats off to them.
I agree with someone up above to, that it'd be cool to have them take pics of your actual motor going down the assembly line and being dynoed for ya. That'd really gain some respect for me at least.

Talk about taking advantage of a potentially bad situation. Imagine this...........Blueprint films the build of my engine, follows it through shipping, and it shows up with 2 guys ready to install, all on camera!!

I'm sure a major motorhead car show would be interested....

I dreamed this happened.......and they brought a 383 stroker...... (and a timing light)

Talk about changing the way America views customer service!!

(((((I just woke up))))) ..........dayum.........

Lock her up George.......this thread is toast!!

Thank you to everyone who had input to this thread. I am not very motor smart and have learned a great deal and I am in the market for a crate motor and would have no problem with blueprint/marshal. I hope the best for them . everyone please spread the word A.S.A.P ... also we dont want everyone at marshal to hate corvettes

I want to see pic of your new motor to compare pics. You did nothing wrong here at all... you asked us for advice and we gave our opinions. There are three unanswered questions...

1.) Why do 2 shops say Not detonation yet they say...?
2.) Why did the hone job look ?
3.) What is the deal with the Dyno sheet?

Some things seem a little fishy here and you seem quick to drop it. If they are so great let's hear the answers.

Well kudos to them. This thing was going south quick and I'm very impressed with the personal attention and willingness to come on the board. Their stock just went way up in my book.

The advertise: "Dyno tested – and shipped with results"

The email reply I received when I questioned them on this says: "We run every Blueprint Engine on our performance dyno to make sure we
hit our target horsepower, and verify that we have the proper torque and
break the new engine in. We do not save the individual dyno charts.
"

WTF? You take the time to Dyno it, but you won't take the time to print the results and put them in an envelope?

I would send Ol' Clarence another e-mail inquiring why you're freshly bored, honed and rebuilt engine exhibits no signs of machining after only an hour of use. I would throw up the BS flag on this one, the engine is not as advertised. This may help to move their decision making process along, and to sway it in your favor.

Looks like pretty shoddy workmanship & false advertising to me. If this problem is a result of their negligence and poor workmanship I would defnitely try to get compensation for your time. It's one this if something happens by chance, this looks more and more like it happened because they cut corners and INTENTIONALLY delivered an inferior product. I have a feeling courts would agree...
