I have interest too but i am old school i want my 69 build old school, once in a while i see a 17" that is "okay" but i just dont like the big diameter modern wheels and rubber band tires are even worse on these classic cars,
I guess if i stay true to that im stuck with 15x10 with 295 50 15
On a reversed rim then an adaptor/spacer to get the fit just right with the lip of the flare,
I noticed ac cobra guys who want old scool vintage are in my same boat

I’m looking to add a small flare to the rear fenders. Nothing on the scale of the big L-88’s, but just enough to cover a slightly wider rear tire. I found this picture of a fantastic looking car via google. Tip of the cap to who ever owns it, but it’s the exact size rear flare I’d like. Anybody with a source for these? Maybe homemade?
I like the wheels and color too.

73bb,
I hate to be a noisy negativist but when i zoom in on that rear flare it looks pretty crappy to me, its not fitting well or bonded at the door and has ugly gaps, it juts out weird too,
Must be my vision and brain, i cant see a seam for the door
Okay, tar and feather me,
My 69 had rear flares that were only about one inch over stock, they cut the stock flare at the body pulled it out that inch and glassed it all back together,
Looked great almost stock but two different wanna be techs tore them up....

I am not the all knowing authority, but I have done a decent amount of research for my own vette. From what I have seen, these look custom to me. I went with the ebay l88's

Is the 1968-73 chrome bumper rear end from Custom Image as well?
My 76 is getting ready for paint after we put custom image 4" flares on her. The back tires aree 335 30 18s. We also made a different back end while we were at it. I can't wait to see it in color because I think it looks great already.
The flares are copies of the ones Curby got on his 72 and they look perfect to me. There are pictures of his car in this thread.

The paint and body work were finished and the car got on the road in 2014. I have rear bumpers and planned on putting them on but never got around to it and now I am just kind of used to it being that way.
