Don't worry I can't ever get it right either... unless of course everyone else can see the image except me... then .. uh.....well?
You can't post from your desktop , you have to put it in an addressable spot on the web, then post the hyperlink.

Thanks for Joining the Crimson Armada here is the script to put your vette in the signature line. Just right click on top of the picture, go to properties and copy the URL between the IMG IMG that you displayed on your post with the [] around it properly and copy to your signature. I can resize the photo larger if you like.

As stated above, to post a picture the picture must first be located on a web site somewhere. If you don't have access to a web site already, you can set one up for free here on the CorvetteForum. Just click on the "Home Pages" tab above.
After following the directions on the Home Pages or if you already have pictures stored on a wen site somewhere or are part of a web page already, just add the link to the picture between the following codes.
["img]link to my picture[/img"]
Do not use quotes when you actually create the link.
This will tell the forum that it's an image and where to find it. You can also put an image into your signature from "My Profile".
