Although the engine performance was no 69' vette. And chrome shine looks better than rubber, you just cannot mistake the thing that makes the 78-82 vettes the coolest.
Call me crazy and I'm sure a few flames :boxing may develop here but there is actually something much more basic that makes the 68-82 Vette the best looking. It comes down simply to the coke bottle shape.

It's a proven instinctual fact that a women (sorry gals but stick with me here) with a coke bottle shape is considered to be more fertil and desirable by most men. The 68-82 Vette is very much like this and they are desired by many men (and many women too of course) because they have a beauty that is reflective of something that is very desired and for which comes from within. When a women walks down the street past a construction site, or a C3 drives by, heads turn.

We are what we are. :D

I like em all, 68-72 for the same reasons. But absolutely, chrome kicks. ;)

Andy:

We have had a chrome bumper shark for years. Picked up a '79 for a daily driver for our daughter. Didn't think too much about it then but in the last three years the look has taken me in. Great looking car.

I love the lines of the C-3!! The late C-3's lines really seem to flow well. Like other have said before, the curves resemble those of a beautiful woman. An '81 is one of the few cars I would considering buying again.

All C3's are brilliantly styled but I think the '81s - '82s are the best (but then I would, wouldn't I?!). It's just a pity that I can't see where the front of the nose is

I'll stay with the tinklin' chrome...thank you. Nothing beats that classic look. While I love all the stingray styles....I'm not reeeeeal fond of the "pregnant window" or spoilers.
Just my opinion. :jester

NO :mad accepted!
