Dirty hands, arms and more....
Ok... we all know what wax, polish and soap everyone uses on the Vette, but what do you use to clean up with after you finish working on the car? Feel free to add more.

I always use the orange stuff. Works good for me and I like the smell. Trust me this is one greasy nasty som bum.

When I was drawing up the plans for my work shop, the first thing I did was make provision for a sink and toilet. I had a shower in my old work shop but only used it a few times.
The nice thing about having the sink and toilet out there is it keeps me from getting in trouble with the real boss of the house. Nothing like getting greasy prints on the inside fixtures to get her mad.
I keep two large pump jugs of the orange stuff on the shop sink. I think it has saved my mariage. Plus, by building the seperate garage, it keeps the grease and crud out of the house garage and less friction for me.

I've spent the last 10 years restifying my car in such a way that now when I work on it, I no longer get dirty..... :yesnod:

I'm tellin ya, use ATF as a pre-scrub and then just use the orange stuff or dishwashing soap. The ATF really breaks down the heavy stuff and it washes away much easier.

Looks like orange clean is leading the pack. I have a spray bottle of simple green hanging in my shower! Seems to clean real well too.

Dishwashing liquid - the concentrated type. Works good :yesnod:

I wear those disposable rubber "surgeon" gloves so never have dirty hands. But for arms, etc, I use the orange stuff. Have a big jug of it in the kitchen (under the sink). So sometimes I get in trouble for making the sink and counter messy.
