Dynomax headers

I have a set of Dynomax headers. They are black. I installed them this past Saturday and they are pretty close to the starter and also it looks like that if you put pipes on them they go right into the transmission pan. I purchased these headers 5 years ago. I have the sticker on the box and it has part number 85005. 63-82 corvette. Did dynomax have fittment issues in the past? I was going to send these out to be ceramic coated but I'm glad I did not. I will just buy the ceramic coated version from Jegs or Summitt. I have heard that there are no fitting problems or clearance issues with the current ceramic coated versions.

I have the ceramic Dynomax and they fit great and look real good

I have them as well, Jegs #289-86008. Very good fit. If you are concerned with starter clearance, consider installing a mini starter at the same time.
