Default Historians, detail guys and music lovers - stupid horn question for 68

As you may know there are two notes used on the horns on the Vette - mine seem to be original and are labeled E and H - the E is not working pn 9000245 - if you look in most of the supplier you will find A,C,D and F - what was originally used?

Where could I find an E horn? If not available what note from the above list should I use? I am trying to avoid rebuilding the horn as well.

ROFLMAO Thats a great idea MNJACK!!!! I did that once on a Nissan Sentra Station wagon. I figured if I had to replace the horn, why not have fun with it. My little sister was just getting her liscense and had to drive it, :troll :p: she was not impressed. Got it from good ole JC. :boxing

68-70 had dual horns (high and low note)
71-73 had single horn (low note)
74-75 had single horn (low note) standard, dual horns optional (low & high)
76-82 dual horns standard ( high and low)
F note = Low tone
A note = High tone
C note = Anti-theft horn
D note = deep tone
On a 68 horn on passanger side is 9000245 Low note
driver side is 9000246 High note
I found a good high note horn on Ebay.

I got an "ooooo - gaaaaah" horn, I love the thing. I got it from J.C. Whitney it's mostly metal and solid, it will scare the bejeezees out out some one though, you have to be a little thoughtful. But if someone is coming into your lane and don't see you it's a real good thing.
