looking for specs on TRW 2300 F piston....
When my 1966 427 was rebuilt by previous owner he had TRW 2300 F pop up pistons installed........I put on Endlebrock Alum heads as a winter project a few years ago , but didnt take the time to measue the dome of the pistons .......anyone know the wherabouts of the specs of TRW pistons , block is .30 over , block was milled enough to remove the engine numbers & my heads have 110 cc semi open chambers.....trying to compute compression ratio........

Straydog, according to my TRW catalog, your L2300F pistons have a .140 dome height and with 109.4 cc chambers and 30 over pistons gives you 9.43 compression. Hope this helps. Hershey

I'm using the same piston with 104 cc heads and approx. .010 deck height. I figured my comp ratio at 9.6 to 1. So, 9.4 to 1 sounds about right, depending on deck height.
