please keep in mind the fenders are not flared out on the 68-69 model.
so all years after 69, that say they are running larger tires, is not comparing apples to apples.
basically anything larger than 245 might rub on the early years.

Mike....explain to me why it matters how old a thread is? Does time change what tires fit on a Corvette? People search for information to get answers, and in most cases the information has no relation to what date it is on a calendar.

I also for one really don't care what year the thread was started, as I like to read all the previous info on everyone's knowledge and experience's on the subject which helps me on my future choices for my tire choices.

Plus it condenses the info.

I went from 245s to 235s fronts....the 245s rubbed. I have 255s in the back and they are ok.

My 255 rubbed on the frame on both sides only a little, but
They only cleared the upper fender by 3/4 of an inch . So this is my
Choice.
