no, it has a cast crank....h-beam rods and forged pistons. Has a hyd cam right now, I stuck the forged crank in my truck (because that one is running...and running strong) I have a roller and the roller lifters lying that I need to swap. Has 76 iron heads now, I have some alus lying around also...I'll pull the engine apart and swap that stuff when I have the engine car running, I'll leave it in 1 piece right now. I'm still looking for that great deal on a 3.5 stroke forged lightweight crank w/ 2.00" journals. I've been thinking about just ordering it from HTC but have too many other projects and stuff that needs attention.

The carbs are pressure tight up to 3 bar of boost...but the rotating assy will die way before that. I can adjust the wastegates w/ an external valve...I'll see where I go with it. As long as there's no forged crank in there I'm not going to push it.

What size are the compressor wheels on the turbos? I was thinking of running twin 60-1s on a 406ci, sbc of course. Those manifolds look pretty professionally done, did you do them yourself?

Also, what does your rear end consist of? That is my main concern at this point, seeing that to make it hold 600rwhp I would probly need to ditch the aluminum diff housing, go with cast iron, and spend nearly 4grand on a 30 spline conversion from Vansteel ...

Your car is amazing though and I look forward to seeing its completion.

Do a search for TT's posts, he scored a "newer" vette super dana rearend and wrote a thread on how he was able to modify it to fit his c3.
I'd make a trek overseas just to see that beast once it gets on the road...maybe have to go for a spin in it too! passenger of course
Nice job TT

TT isn't using rotors...saves weight due to less rotational mass which adds hp.
At the moment plans include 3 steps.
Step 1) downshift
Step 2) stick hand out window wearing large baseball finger made out of carbon fiber.
Step 3) release parachute (repack chute at redlight)

I remembered that someone had ti rotors, so I went back and checked. There is a post there about saving weight and some guy "sadistic", mentions the ti rotors. For all I know he might just be a jerkoff. He also said that he did 185 mph and I'm not sure I believe that sh#t.
