the coil not the modual, looks like in your engine picks you have accel
stuff will a regular chevy coil fit.

Hum, I could understand that. But it worked fine before the new parts. I think it may have something to do with the carb. If that was going out I wouldn't be able to drive it around it would give me problems. Correct?

the local auto parts store has stuff to check your coil you will
have to remove it and take it down to them, bad coils and spark
plug wires have been causing problems for people forever. do you
have solid core plug wires??

I know you have 8 psi fuel pressure to your carb did you check your
fuel float levels in your fuel bowls to see if they are way low and starving your carb for fuel. maybe the primary fuel bowl float is set
way to low from the factory or way to high??

Float level is good. 70 jets and 1 1/2 turns out on the idle mixture.
