Anyone have a LS7 BB engine in their Shark?
I believe the LS7 was scheduled for an option in the 1971 Vette and Chevelle
but GM never released them for production.But they can be built up from
GM parts.I saw a 1973 on eBay with one in it.The car's reserve was not met.
High bid was 15K.He had sixty pictures of that vette and it was a good looking
C3.I got seven good pictures of the engine compartment.It had power steering
and I am going to make my old L36 power steering again,so I wanted to see
a close-up of the brackets. I believe that would have been the strongest motor around in
1971.It produced 465HP@5600 and 490 torque @3600.But at 12.5:1 CR
they could only be used on the drag strip today I guess.

70PurpleLS7 has one here and apart from being a strong car, it has to be the best looking one on the forum. Do a search on his username. :cool:

I built one, but I don't think it's really what your after, I have no power accessories to speak of, and I've heard conflicting reports whether they used iron/aluminum heads.
But the shortblock/head/cam combination is based, on what they were going to put in from the factory.
