Anyone have details on a TPI 350 swap?
I currently have a 305 LG4 and was looking at putting in a TPI 350. Has anyone done this or have details on it? Also I'm in the market for a TPI 350 that needs a rebuild so if anyone in the Denver area has one for sale shoot me an email.
Thanks,
Matthew

Contact Tuneport78 and he will put you on the mailing list for the C-3 TPI club.
As far as kits. Ebay and http://www.fuelinjectionspecialist.com are good places to shop prices.

I installed a TPI in my 78. Street and Performance have a video on the TPI engines that is very informative. They are also very helpful. The engine that I used in my 78 was from a 93 Camaro. It was a bare engine, no electronics, computer or sensors. S&P helped a lot with the parts that I needed. Howell Engineering in Marine City MI built my wire harness and set up the computer. The engine is a basic 350 so your motor mounts, exhaust manifolds trans and bell housing fits. If at all possible get a complete engine with all of the electronics, starter, alternator and belts. You will also have to install a electric fuel pump. I was able to put mine in the tank. It is an excellent swap. If you want more info or pictures you can email me at Gibbys@home.com. Roger
