we are staying in Phuket. My hotel is of the 5-star quality and everything is ridiciously cheap. P.S. I am sticking with Rum and cokes. :cheers:

I went to Phuket during the hot season & it rained every day except one :( Stayed in a 5* which was about the same price as a B&B here! Apparantly they aren't allowed to build anything higher than the height of the palm trees - they must have huge palm trees out there somewhere :lol: There was an awful lot of development going on while we were there. Recommend a boat trip out to pee-pee island (Phi Phi?). Excellent scenery on the way (probably really nice when it's not raining!).
Wish I was there, make the most of it ;)
