What do you think of the new format?
Personally, I hate the re-vamped CF. Too slow, too hard to navigate, totally unfriendly. How about you?
PS - how do you get the little faces into your posts????
And, it lost my sig photo!!!!! :(

After you click on "Reply" or "Post New Topic", use your mouse to pull the right side cursor down...You will see a whole line of cute little smiley characters appropriate for the mood. As you type the post, click on the icon you want at the location you want it, and it will be inserted.
Here's a tip for you, however...If you decide further down in the message that you want to insert a smiley earlier in the text, you will have to cut all the text after the place you want to insert the smiley, and after you insert the icon, paste the text back. If you don't cut and paste, the software will put ALL inserted icons after the last character typed regardless of where the cursor is located.
Who needs Netscape anyway? :D

Well, I like it! Yes, I can't use Netscape anymore, but Opera works great! IMO this new software has some great features: the email notification list, the ability to turn off signatures, avatars or pictures, etc. I've turned off signatures and avatars, and it makes a huge difference (dial-up connection... :().

I think it is great. It is really fast with IE. Yea I broke down and installed IE. The reply function wouldn't work for me with Netscape and it ran slow.

I noticed that after the change, a lot of members are missing. I found them on the "other" Corvette forum. Seems to be "firewall" issues on our "new" forum that are keeping many from viewing it (at work!). :eek:

1. I CAN'T STAND THE FACT THAT WHAT I HAVE READ IS A CORRECT OBSERVATION.
This current set up is NOT compatible with NETSCAPE.
WOULD SOMEONE PUT OUT THE EFFORT TO CORRECT THAT SIMPLE ISSUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

3. This Forum set up works ok on my iMAC & Netscape, But, honest, I have to put out alot of effort to just post an answer.
4. I saw the "last" version (KING SIZED TYPE- I HAD TO ALTER MY SETTINGS, etc). I tried responding once, gave up and have now just decided to see if something changed for the better.
From what I can see, it's not going back to the old way (how many members, now?), I have to adjust to not being able to post a reply, I have to put out real effort to post a reply (kinda on the level of making Corvette brakes NOT SQUEEL! or PULL! OR LEAK!!), so my visits will be VERY limited. Miss a lot of friends. Still have the Corvette, but a very busy life, soon. BUT my Corvette finally gets a garage, instead of just the car cover. That's a plus.
Progress.
Adapt or die.
Or choose (NOT WILLINGLY) to participate.
Dictionarys always work perfectly!
Hope everyone is well and enjoying a deserved vacation break!
PS. THE NEW BRAND OF THIS FORUM-"ZEROFORUM" is a very correct name for this brand. I would pretty much rate it as a "Zero".
