Installed a new lighter socket last night for cell phone charging
and vrfm9 purposes.
could get no more than 7 volts at socket when tested then found
that the fuse had blown ( no door lights) figured i must have grounded something while doing install, replaced fuse and plugged in the
cell phone cord to test and again lost interior lights.
pulled fuse again but it wasnt blown this time. reinstalled and
"bang" lights come back on again.
i found it, seems the aftermarket replacement was allowing
the hot to ground out against the case once installed.
i removed the spade clip from it and located a bullet connector
