I don't buy any of this. Sorry, but who would install there motor in someone else car to dyno it? Trailblazer SS are very expensive and that would void the warranty. Post your pics and dyno, please prove me wrong.
It was built at a shop. It was dynoed on an engine dyno. To transport it home we put it in the back of my Trailblazer SS.
I wouldn't put a carb'd 520lb motor in my TBSS. The LS2 > That
hi, what would be the expected power and torque increase with the ati p1sc charger? this referred on a internal forged 406ci 570 hp motor...compression on my engine is 10.00 i guess this is too much for a charged motor is it? are ati people helpfull? where should i best buy and request full details and advices on your opinion? thanks/Giu
Well, Mike's motor made 405 and is running 8.25:1 compression. You could probably get away with a D1-SC head unit and run 8-9psi of boost. Maybe even 10-11 psi of boost if you are intercooled. You'll pick up about 30hp per psi. So, figure if you run 9-10psi you will get 270-300hp.
Damnit, I don't want to register for all that garbage. I did email them to Mike so he can figure out how to upload them tomorrow (he is very internet forum retarded).
