Free Strut Rods U pay the shipping
Hello friends
Hey I just replaced the strut rods on my 79 with a different type, the ones that I took off are in good shape ,but need new bushings. Who ever would like these can have them , but you will have to pay the shipping cost.
let me know first come first serve Yo Bill B

Yes, the '76 and '79 should use the same struts. In fact, I believe those struts are the same from '79 clear back to '63. The '80-'82's are different; they have an angle built into them whereas the older ones are just straight dogbones.
BTW - I, too, have a set of struts that I will gladly give away free to a good home, if the taker will pay the shipping. These are from my '81 and are in perfect condition; never bent, no rust. Bushings are shot, of course. I replaced the struts with VB's Smart Strut kit.
Other used '81 parts I have that someone might want, all available for the cost of shipping:
Front coil springs (somewhat tired), rear 9-leaf (also tired), front sway bar bushing cups (for 1.125" bar), front tie rods (complete).
