I got my complete interior from Wilcox. Great products at great prices even before the discount. Thanks Wilcox. Maybe I should start another one!

I'm always willing to support a forum vendor and I canceled an order I had with Summit for a clutch fork, pivot stud and boot. I decided to order some parts after work on Friday August 10th, order went out on Monday the 13th. I figured I would see them at the end of the week. I didn't get my parts until the 24th and no one replied to my e-mail inquiries. The quality of the parts is very good but the shipping is slow.
I will order Corvette parts from them in the future but if its generic Summit/Jeg's stuff I need in a few days, I'll probably pass.

Just wanted to put my $.02 in. I met these guys for the first time today. I have the pleasure of living 30 minutes from them. I didn't really realize it until a couple months ago.

The guys are super nice and are genuinely concerned about customer service. I would recommend anyone needing parts to give them a shot...I am confident you will be pleased!

Is the leather like interior package complete kit discounted as well? I saw the leather like one with the seat covers (not mounted) listed, at a discount off the ebay price, but not the kit with the mounted ones. It looked like it was more than ebay. Let me know. I am ready to buy.

Thank you.

You might hurry, the interior prices will go up on Dec. 30. I hate it but there is nothing we can do about it.

What all did you get?

I'm actually going to replace my 82 red interior and go black with aftermarket seats.

Quick question for anyone that's already bought an interior package:

Is it worth paying extra for the leather, or is leather like a pretty good product?

Also, thinking of going from blue to black interior, so aside from the package deal (the $665, or $805 if I go for leather) what else should I get to make this happen (vinyl spray is the only other thing that comes to mind).

Many thanks

Get ready...it is like cliff diving once you take out the first few parts.....what started as a seat switch and dye job has now turned into ...hey, I should replace that good part with a BETTER one...

Seriously, I just picked up some C5 seats off eBay for $499 with leather LIKE new covers, rails, power, etc. I can't believe how nice the leather like stuff is. I will sale the rails and power stuff to recoop some of that cost. I can't actually believe he listed them for that price.

I have leather in my truck and previous vette...you sweat in either way. The choice is up to you. I had to get out of the C3 seats, they just don't fit me well and the C5s are just night and day difference.

I dyed a few parts and I was pretty amazed at the results. You have to clean the heck out of the parts and be sure to use paint thinner and paint prep stuff in the process. I tested out my luck with the stuff you get at AutoZone at about $6.00 a can for vinyl, plastic and cloth...worked great. I did my visors first, several light coats, showed them to the wife and she was impressed. I'm a detail kind of guy and even I couldn't justify purchasing new visors after the results.

If you plan on doing the dash I would just say to research the many previous threads on taking it out v. leaving it in place to paint/dye. I'm replacing mine and it cracked in five new places just trying to carfully grab it to remove it...and I actually knew what I was doing...it was just too brittle to save.

This forum has been a blessing. Everything little thing like removing that frigging glove box lock is somewhere in the archive....I did however bust mine into a million little pebbles after learning I could get a new one for $20.00 and getting the old one out was impossible

Good luck, sorry for getting off track.

I think you were suppose to list your year, model and color preference in the comments. Just call them or send an email. You'll be amazed how quick you get the stuff. While I am waiting on a dash still the rest of the stuff arrived in three days.

Thank you.. Yeah, I must have missed that in the rush to get in before the sale ended...

Anyway, Joe from Wilcox called me this morning and got all the info needed.... So far, I am quite impressed!

Can't wait to get it... I'm thinking about pulling the interior out today in preparation for its arrival!

Does anyone know if the interior kit includes the carpet backing that is glued to the back of the seat backs? If not, where can I get this.. ?

Thanks!

Got the interior out, carpet, seats, etc.. I'm so excited. I cannot wait to get the new bits installed!!!
